Above there are some good results, yet one can also see that some
are performing better than others; I’ve challenged everyone
to discover what it is that holds them back; Is it mental? Is it
physical? Is it your attitude? Ask yourself…are you
motivated? Are you focused? Are you committed? Are you confident?
And, most importantly…ARE YOU PREPARED?
At some point all athletes struggle when that happens I encourage
them to look at their “preparation” (daily training)
and to “be honest”; guaranteed the answers lay
somewhere
in the questions listed above and can only be addressed during
their preparation . Those who learn to treat swimming as a
“craft” which they strive to “master” and
come to understand that success takes “patience, persistence
and perseverance” will, without fail, find success; they
simply need to “mentally endure the ups and downs” it
takes to get there.
