OSI 11&Over State Championships - Day 1 Recap

The Thunderbolts are off to a great start on day one of the OSI 11&Over state championships at Mt. Hood Community College with one State Record, 7 first place finishes and many other top 12 finishes.  Here's a recap:

  • Boys 13-14 800 Free Relay - New OSI State Record!  The Thunderbolt relay team of Ben Buchalski (14), Jackson Wahl (14), Josh Noll (14) and Jonathan Zoucha (14) shattered the previous state record set in 2009 by The Dolphins by 7 seconds and the old Thunderbolt team record set in 2006 by 8 seconds! The new OSI state, and Thunderbolt team record is: 8:23.52.
