OSI 11&Over State Championships - Day 2 Recap

The Thunderbolts continued with more great swims on Day 2 of the OSI 11&Over state championships.  Notable swims:

  • Michelle Cefal set a new OSI state record in the 14y 100 Butterfly, finishing in 1:03.14.
  • The Thunderbolt 11 year old boys virtually swept the 400 Freestyle event, finishing in 1st through 7th places.
  • The Thunderbolt 14 year old boys also finished strong in the 400 Freestyle with 5 finalists in the top 10.
  • The Thunderbolt 11-12 year old boys 200 Free Relay team finished 1st, just .21 seconds behind the state record (set by the Thunderbolts in 2002).
